He is now in a foster home and is doing great. This is what his foster parent had to say about him:
He’s doing super — house trained (no mistakes), good on leash, enjoys my backyard, is a lover and has been an excellent patient since his surgery yesterday. He has to wear a cone and even though I’m sure he doesn’t like it — he tolerates it — a great little guy. Oh, he enjoys watching Animal Planet too.”
At Animal Haven he was groomed and had his wounds surgically repaired. He was also neutered and given a full exam by our on-staff veterinarian.

I’m SO glad to hear he’s doing ok. His story is just heartbreaking! He deserves a loving home.
I have been following this story since it rolled across the news tape.
Weather here is getting colder. Nice to think this will have a happy ending and a warm home for this little fellow. Special thanks to whomever took him in!
