Volunteer

Volunteering at Heartland SPCA is more than just an opportunity to work with the animals in our care. It is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide a higher quality of life for homeless pets through adoption, education and collaboration with our animal welfare community.

Through dedicated services, volunteers reflect the quality that is representative of Heartland SPCA’s service in the Kansas and Missouri communities. In return, Heartland SPCA recognizes the valuable assistance that volunteers provide and considers them an integral part of the Heartland SPCA team.

One of the most important aspects of the Heartland SPCA volunteer program is the diversity of responsibilities that volunteers undertake on a daily basis. Volunteers create and maintain a delicate balance by providing essential services. Volunteers serve as a bridge between animals, customers, and staff at Heartland SPCA as they represent their dedication to their communities.
